What is the Amazon Affiliate Program?

You just have to create your affiliated link of any product and whenever a customer buys a product from that link you will get commission (as per the Amazon Associate Program Advertising Fee Schedule).

How to become an Amazon affiliate:

1. Visit the Amazon Associate Homepage.

2. Make you Amazon Affiliate profile.

3.Create you Amazon Affiliate links.

To become an Amazon Associate, you must have an active, blog, website, YouTube Channel, or  App. If you have a good number of viewers then it would be really helpful. Having good traffic will show that your site is active and authentic to users as well as Amazon.

Remember, you must be able to describe the purpose of your website as part of the application process. So, have a firm idea about which niche you're creating your site, the audience you're going to target, and how you'll bring in traffic.

Build your Amazon Associates profile

Once you've signed into your Amazon account, click "New Customer" and begin building your Associate account.

1. Enter your account information.

2. Enter your website address, apps, YouTube Channels, etc.

3. Enter your preferred store ID (usually the same as your primary website name), explain what your websites hope to accomplish, and select Amazon (topics) products your links will likely target.


4. Explain how you drive traffic to your websites. How you generate income from your blog, website or apps. How many visitors your site brings in each month. And what type of products you are going to advertise.


5. Enter your phone number. You will receive an OTP, and after entering it, your account will be approved after some processing.


6. Choose your payment method. You can do it later, it's totally up to you.

4. Create Amazon Affiliate links. After creating your account, you’ll be sent to your profile’s homepage. There’ll be your performance dashboard. It will have a lot of details about how many clicks your link got, how much you earned and all, go through everything and make your self comfortable with it.

It's also where you will create the link of products for your site.

At the product link section, there will be a search bar where you can search for products and then you can get a quick short link, link with/without the image. And before linking products to your sites, make sure they are authentic and relevant.

Your account will be approved for 180 days. During that time, you must make at least one sale, or your account will be closed. You can reapply for the Amazon Associate program after you've made certain adjustments to your site.
